Studio HENK for Amvest
We recently had the pleasure of being involved in the transformation of the historical Ketelhuis building for our clients (and neighbours) Amvest. In conjunction with Apto architects, we helped Amvest create an inspiring studio that opened its doors in Cruquiusweg, Amsterdam on 8 September 2020.
The Ketelhuis building was originally used as a storage boiler for melted coconut oil more than 100 years ago, and it was important to our clients that its historical roots were preserved. Amvest, a home investment company, wanted to create a homely space where their customers could come and get inspired whilst imagining their new home.
In response to this need we furnished the area with some of our popular round Butterfly Tables to create inclusive seating arrangements. We also added long rectangular Butterfly Tables and Butterfly Dining Benches which are more suited to large group meetings and conferences. The finishing touch was then the addition of our Ode Chairs and Ode Stools which provide a comfortable and sophisticated addition to the interior.
It was particularly special to help Amvest as a local business partner as our showroom is located just across the street. Aside from the delivery of the furniture, we were able to help advise in the early stages of the project and the undertake the installation of the furniture.
We love being able to think outside the box and contribute to beautiful projects like this one. If you are looking for furniture for your own project, please contact us for more information. Our entire collection is highly customisable, so we are more than happy to cooperate further on personal customisations for your project. Think of unique colours, sizes or even design adjustments; and be sure to check out some of our other projects on the projects page.
